Gemma Elgar, Digital Content Specialist

Gemma is our Junior Content Specialist. Having completed a BA in English at the University of Birmingham and being heavily involved in the student paper, she sparked a passion for analysis and writing that she now applies at Liberty.

The opportunity to specialise her degree with niche modules and write on such a broad range of topics for the paper are where Gemma began to finesse her ideas and creativity, which she now brings to the content she plans and produces for our clients.

Keen to learn and get stuck in with the industry, Gemma works on both content and social media projects, as variety and the opportunity to research are what really make her tick.

What’s the proudest moment of your life? Probably completing my degree during the pandemic. My final year felt pretty rocky at the best of times, but the catharsis I felt when I submitted my dissertation was honestly such an unparalleled feeling! It definitely made the struggle feel worth it.

What’s your death row meal? It’d have to be something grand and something good; my first thought is always a classic Christmas dinner with all the trimmings (and obviously including dessert). You just can’t go wrong with a little bit of everything delicious.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself. I once interviewed two of my favourite authors from my childhood on the same day. Safe to say this has been my ‘fun fact’ ice breaker ever since.
